Pursuant to the Value Added Tax Act 2014 for The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and as a VAT registrant, Odyssey Aviation Bahamas is mandated to charge and collect VAT on behalf of The Government of The Bahamas. Effective 1st January 2015, VAT will be charged at a rate of 7.5% on goods and services supplied to all domestic flights. The Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas has added an Immigration attendance fee to the processing fees for private aircraft entering and leaving the country that were implemented earlier this year.
